How is the feeling to be Thanos with Infinity Gloves? I mean you can make half of lives disappear or even more via a finger snap. Actually you can find the answer in New World, maybe I exaggerate somehow but as one of my favourite Mage class builds, the Void Gauntlet and Ice Gauntlet, I do feel like I am using Infinity Gloves power when I playing in the New World. So today, let have look on the Thanos Build, you can also call it Void Gauntlet and Ice Gauntlet build, and give a full guide from gears to gameplay or even New World Coins grinding methods, and hope the those content can help you against Avengers.
Attributes
The attributes you want to have is one the image. Firstly, you better get your intelligence to 150, if you start from Level 0. Then when you around level 60, you should have 300 intelligence and 150 Constitution.
For your gear weight, the best gear setup is to have heavy weight on helmet, chest armor and medium weight on others, which is exactly just below the heavy weight category.
Void Gauntlet
So then moving over to the first weapon which is the Void Gauntlet, you should unlock Keen Confidence and Refreshing Precision, and then get the first ability to call the Oblivion, and light the two perks under, Withering Oblivion and Invigorating Oblivion.
Then afterwards unlock the second ability called the Petrifying Scream, and get two perks under as well, which are Bone-Chilling Voice and Fortifying Echoes.
Now let’s move over to the other side, unlock the Orb of Decay, and then get its three perks. That’s it now from this moment you can unlock all the other perks whatever way you prefer. You should have seven skill points and some new world coins left, just unlock them with consideration of your perspective, the steps are presented in the above image.
Ice Gauntlet
Let’s move over to the second weapon which is the Ice Gauntlet, first of all you can unlock the first ability called the Ice Spikes, and then get these three perks, Refreshing Spikes, Cold Reach and Energized Critical. Afterwards you can unlock the second ability called the Ice Storm and then get these three perks then from here
For the other side, firstly unlock the perk named Quick Frost, and then you can unlock Ice Shower and the one last perk under it, Enduring Shower, so these are the most significant perks and skills you should focus on Ice Gauntlet. You should have eight skill points let, again from this moment, you can use your points on whatever skills you like, the image listed below also shows the steps as well.
Void Gauntlet Gameplay
Now it’s the time to introduce the gameplay and I’ll show you the best way to play this build. First of all for the void Gauntlet, we have the first Q ability called the Oblivion, which creates a circle around you and your teammates, inside the circle will be getting 20% the damage increase. On the other hand your enemy standing in the circle will be taking the damage every second.
Then for the second ability we have the Petrifying Scream, which when using will unleash a void scream, and this will stagger and root enemies in front of you.
The third ability called the Orb of Decay and you can fire the orb which can go to your enemies and each enemy that it hits it will deal decent damage and reduce their damage absorption, and then later that orb will come back and heal you for a few seconds.
If you hold the right mouse button, you can regain more Mana but in exchange your health will go down. I definitely would not recommend to use this mechanic for this specific build.
Ice Gauntlet Gameplay
Moving over to the second weapon, which is the Ice Gauntlet. Q spell is called the ice storm, which all enemies standing in it will get damaged and slowed, the more enemies you hit, the higher damage you will get.
Then the next ability is called the Ice Shower, when you using, it will create an ice wall and if an enemy goes through, it will be stunned, so the stability for this skill is very useful in chopping your targets.
The third ability is called the Ice Sparks, when you use it, it creates a trail of spikes in a straight line, which deals damage in a small AOE range. This skill is very useful and and high damage if you use it correctly.
The way it works is that if you are too close to the enemy, the Ice Spikes won’t explode with the highest damage. So what you want to do is when using this ability, press your right mouse button and this will detonate the spikes when it close to the target, which will deal very high damage.
Combinations
As far as your ability combinations, there are two basic combos you can use on this build. Combo number one is for the Ice Gauntlet, where you place the ice shower on the enemy, then put the ice storm and hit the target with the ice spikes. The second combo is for the Void Gauntlet, firstly use the Petrifying Scream to your target, and then place the Oblivion, plus auto normal attack the enemy while doing medium jumps to activate the Opal gem on your weapon. Most of the time you can save your medium jumps to escape enemy abilities and lastly whenever you get low Health, use your Orb of Decay and heal yourself for few seconds.
Gems
Then let’s talk about our gem choice, for Void Gauntlet you want to use the Cut Pristine Opel gem, then for Ice Gauntlet you can get the Cut Pristine Malachite gem, finally you can use the Cut Pristine Onyx gems for the gears or amulets left, which would take you tons of new world gold, you can easily grab them all.
Gears:
Firstly for the Void Gauntlet, the key perks must be the Keen, Enchanted and Vicious.
Actually every thing you need on the gears must depend on your skills, like if you have Petrifying Scream, then you have choose the gears which benefit it, just remember Keen, Enchanted and Vicious, those are the priority choices for your build.
The cost on your gears would be the biggest part for this build, but that is something you can not avoid, so just prepare enough New World Gold for it.
For the Ice Gauntlet, just like the previous, focus on Keen, Enchanted and Vicious. Meanwhile, secondary you should also pay attention to the Plagued Crits, Ice Refresh and Chain Ice. Ice Refresh could reduce the skills’ cooldowns, which is really important to this build, and for both Void and Ice, you better have the Health perk, which will increase 9% to your HP.
However, you have to spend some extra New World Coins than you think to get the perfect perks. I mean, if you want to be “Thanos” in New World, you have to pay something, but at least not your daughter anyway. So, if you are struggle in Coins farming in New World, maybe it is another good idea to buy New World Coins a lot directly from the reputable IGGM.com. With cheap price and fast delivery, I do believe that you will have a wonderful trade experience in this site. But this is just my little idea, how to do it is up to you. Have fun, warriors!
